nitto's suck, I thought everybody knew that already. they are indeed half *** dr's.

you should invest in some old v6 rims or something and just pop the dr's on when you need them.

That would be the best, but my budget won't allow that... If I could though I would get some cheapo rims and some really sticky BFG's the fattest ones I could sit on my car. But, I'm poor

You can get BFG 315/35/17's for about $330 shipped to your door from Tirerack.

I would think that it would save you money. dr's are only gonna last 5000 miles on the road

people say that dr's will only last like 5-8 thousand miles,, with whos drivin?

ive had my MT ET Street Radials to the track once, adn they have almost 3K miles, and they arent showing any wear yet

so im pretty sure its all about the way you treat them, if you burn them off at every intersection, of course yo uwont get them to last very long.

(MT's are arguably the softest compound too)

Hmmm so should I wait until I can snag some 16" pony wheels (or something like that) and toss my DR's on those or just get the DR's and mount them as is. I don't wanan roll up to the track with 16" pony wheels and big fat DR's to run 14.1... that's ghey. Aftre the shift kit, stall, PI intake and N20 I should be hitting high 12's and by then I would proudly sport my lil crappy wheels with fat DR's, but until then it just seems silly.

They can say what they want to about the nittos. I have them and when its warm outside 70degrees or better, they hook. A friend of my with a 2.4 kennebell cobra has them and they hook from a 15mph roll. Hes afraid to come out of the hole (stock axles). thats good enough for me. I have 6k miles on them and they have over half the tread left. Icant afford to but M/T every 5k miles. Your probally not going to tote the tires with them but they are a excellent street racing tire. They are far better than street tires. 1st and 2nd from a 15 roll go up in smoke on my street tires.

I too will vouch for the Nittos, for the money thy are awsome and will last almost twice as long as the BFG's.

Hell anything is better than normal street radials!
