good luck man, i would imagine you'd have him by a car length or so
but as soon as they start modding, it gets pretty bad from there
went to muncie last summer and the kids i went with, one had a GTP with a pulley swap, new rods and a couple otehr things (dont recall it all) but he ran a 13.6@103+ with a 2.2 60'

i have a 98 gtp and a 96 gt mustang manual and i swear when my mustang was stock the gtp would smoke it.... but like Jglisson said it my not have been, may of just felt that way. But I think with a 00gt auto with the 45 more horse you will probably have him....but who knows race and find out.... if you lose mod your car

And you will DOMINATE him by probaly 2.5+cars. You will run mid/high 5s, and he will run mid 6s. Also, you have a 5spd, and all GTPs come in Autos. Please don't get all frustrated with what albeedigital says, because frankly, it is BS!
