Default park lights and fog lights

When I turn on my park lights, my fog light do not come on. They only come on if I turn on the headlights. I've seen pics of mustangs with the park lights on and the fog light on. Is it supposed to work that way or do I have a problem with mine.

Mine will run with only the parking lights on. But my car is 'special' lol. But really, it should work even with the parking lights. Are you sure the button is pushed?

The button is pushed and when I turn the headlights on, they come on. Any reasons why this would happen?

Umm, not that I can think of. I really don't know. If something was shorted out then they shouldn't work at all. I really have no clue on what it could be.

you will need to follow the directions given in the link to mustangworld giving above. Stock, your cars foglights will only come on with the headlights on. No worries though. I just rewired my fogs about 4-5 days ago by following the tutorial from mustang world. It takes about 20-30 mins tops. Very easy. The only downside is that you have to turn the foglights off whenever you turn the car on, be cause when you rewire it, it runs on the accessories which make them completely independent. Which means, you can run just your fogs, fogs with parking lamps, fogs with headlights or no fogs at all.

Oh yea, I followed someones directions and it was even simpler than that.
http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/hitech/rdtch1.htm Scroll to the bottom one.
If you follow those it will work the exact same way too. Mine are on all the time unless I turn them off.
