Default RE: Looking at buying a 97 GT

Everyone here, thanks for all the help! I am not looking for a crazy fast car here. My GP was plenty fast, a hog at the pump (premium fuel only with the Forced Inudtion and high compression) of course.

Are there any common problems to look for? I want a car that will last 100K if I need it to. Fox bodies werent uncommon to go over 200K. I was hoping the "sn-95" (if that is what it is called) will last to 175K strongly. Thanks for all the help guys! Would love to join the community and start with the mod fever again!

ok.....96 -97 stangs 215 hp...98 225 hp...Return style fuel system,big plus
They look a ton better than the 99-04 bodies
When you do a pi swap and you will,it will be a great sleeper
and finally the body style is DAMN SEXY

I would get the 4.6 motor. Newer technology on them, and easy to mod. plus i think the body of 96's-98's look way cooler than the 94's.PI stand for performace intake, they first started putting them on 99 and up gt's. what the PI did is add about 40hp to the motor.
They are the SAME DUMBASS![:@]
