99+ GTs Hardtop 5spd.... 5.4 0-60 ... 13.9 1/4 mile.... how can the cobra only do a 13.8 1/4 mile?... id think it prob pulls off less than 13.8... unless the 13.9 1/4 GT time isnt right...</P>

I saw the 1/4 times usually low to mid 14s. A few people have broke into the high into the 13's stock but most are doing low 14s

Cobras will run mid to high 12's, my mach one will run a 13.2(my results), and a 99 and up gt will run 13.9-14.5, depending on driver and race conditions...temp,track prep, humidity, head wind or tail wind...ect... I will say that it has to be a great driver and absolutely unbelievable racing conditions for a gt to touch 13's.. I had ud pulleys, cai, 70mm throttle body, flowmaster, and ran a13.9 or 13.8,(somethingaround that area)on what I thought was a great day, and was clicking off 2.0 60 footers, so it can be many things including if you have a factory freak as well...</P><edited><editID>redneck101</editID><editDate>38009.3273726852</editDate></edited>

I dont doubt it a bit, 2nd was hard for me to stay connected to the track for the first couple seconds, so that makes sense. It was sorta slick out in that part of the track, but all other parts were good it seemed..

Redneck, were you on stock tires or drag radials? 2.0 on the Goodyears is great driving,I could never get close with a street stick!

That is aboput all for mods, but I plan on Vortech Supercharger. Any way, on the way home from my internship (no-talk DJ) I pulled up to a dude in a Civic, and he revved at me, and I thought "I am running high 12's if not better, and stock tires, and he revved at me?"***Idiot*** and I revved back, and he asked If I wanted to race, and I said " Do you want to be smoked, in front of that sweet thang" indicating the chic next to him. He blushed and said "Just go on green" On green I stomped the gas, and let the wheels spin a little, let him get a head start, then I let off the throttle to get traction, and I smoked him in second, couldnt even see him in third, then stopped at the next light and waited. When he pulled up, I pointed and laughed at him, and started a nice burnout right there. He probably was thinking "Doe's he know his back tires are spinning like that, there might be something wrong with his car!" Well there is my intro to the sight, hope you like my Antics, and I have more rice storys to tell, later. But hey, Im Chris, please except me, and I will post here when I get some replies.<IMG src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0"></FONT>

I was on stock tires, but the track prep at the track down here is unbelievable on some days. Its Bradenton Motorsports Park, and they are know for having a great launch pad. You can literally stall your car if you arent ready for the unbelievable hook.(on street tires) My best on Goodyears was a 1.93, but that was in the mach one, and I friggin missed third gear. Would have been a 13.0-13.1 stock.. I hate when that happens.</P>
