I was talking about the way that the boot gets smashed by the shift ****.

The Pro 5.0 and Steeda do not have a long enough threaded part to screw the **** all of the way on without smashing or stretching the boot.

Got any pix of that B&M?

BTW, I have the UPR with no complaints. It's much better than stock, but I've never tried any other... It was just half the price of all the others, or close...

i have an MGW. havn't tried any others but i love mine. You get to keep the stock boots so theres less noise than other shifters. The build quality is amazing. Its one of the shortest shifters. Stock 1-2 shift is 4 inches. MGW 1-2 shift is 2 inches. However, i still miss 3rd gear every once in a while and i don't belive its a true offset.

The other thing I liked about my B&M is that it gets it's most of it's short throw from pivot geometry rather than a short stick. It is still shorter than stock but not micro sized like the Pro5.0 and Steeda.

They're all great. I've tried the MGW and Steeda Tri-Ax myself. Loved um both.

MGW. I've had the Steeda triax too. It is a good shifter. I don't think it compares to MGW though.
