Default What shifter is best?

I hate the stock shifter, I hate how spongy it feels and how I miss my gears. So if you can give me some input that would be grate. And please tell me y you like it.

Thanks

matter of opinion. Everyone seems to like the one they have the best. I'm not going to vote because I have the PRO 5.0 and love it, but I haven't driven with the others.

Whichever you can get for the cheapest price. They all are going to be better than stock and you will love either one. Me personally, I have MGW and love it.

i would go UPR with the adjustable stick. that way you can adjust it to where you want it. I have mine kinda back towards me but also up and down at the same time.

everyone who votes is voting for the brand they went with. so you're only going to get biased votes and opinions. i have a steeda in my car, so naturally, that's what i voted for.

Has anyone used the B&M Ripper?

I tried several in my 2003 GT (3650 M5) MGW, B&M, Pro 5.0. Steeda and the B&M was by far the best.

The Pro 5.0 and Steeda felt like junk and were very notchy, the MGW just felt plain wrong.

The B&M felt nice and soild and the shifts were short and smooth. The B&M also looks like a much nicer part when compared side by side vs the Pro 5.0 or Steeda as for the MGW well they look very nice almost pretty.

The other thing I liked about the B&M was the fact that they took the time make a nice handle, it sits where it should and it doesn't smash the **** out of the shift boot.

I say Steeda, because I have one, and it feels very nice. Notchy? Yes, a little, but the Pro5.0 I felt in a 98(? not sure on the year, it was 4.6 SN95) Cobra feels pretty close to the same... all are very nice, much better than the stock shifter.

Also, I don't have any problems with my shifter and the shift boot. It has plenty of clearance, no rubbing.
