Dude! I love that hood when I get to that point of doing cosmetic mods I'm going to get that hood also. If you like the carbon fiber look I would go with painting just the side's of the hood and leaving the cowl part unpainted. That way you can have a little of both.

I agree with Razor, paint the outsides and leave the cowl carbon fiber. Rice or not, I think that that would look sweet.

Get pics and make a thread in the chop shop... They can show you everything, painted, unpainted, partially painted and then you can see what you like best. Personally, I would paint it, but I'm curios to see how Razor's idea would look. Might be sexy.

I think with your car being in the 12 second club, with your wheels (which look schweeeeeet)...I would leave it unpainted. I'm not a fan of carbon fiber at all, but you have a sweet looking car and I personally think it would look nice as hell, especially since it's a cowl and not some other crazy looking hood.

paint the whole thing because it will look like *** if you don't. carbon fiber might look ok on a black or gunmetal car but not yellow.

haha yeah that would save me about 200 lbs.

come to think of it. if i do go with a carbon fiber hood i could always put it on and if it looks gay i could just go and get it painted, correct?

Exactly.

I tihnk it would look cool unpainted....get some more black/dark accents on your car, and it will look hawt.

If it looks gay.....paint it, simple as that.

Put it on, and post a pic for everyone to see.....then you can decide on it.

yeah it prolly won't be for a bit til i get it. i just picked up my cervinis cobra r bumper that i got for a great deal. also im still undecided if i want the cowl hood or the mach 2 hood.
