Default Write up on how to install long tubes??

Alright guys, within the next month hopefully, I will be buying BBK long tube headers and I am wondering how difficult the install would be? I want to do it myself just to learn how to do it, and don't really care how long it will take, just need to know the correct process on how to properly do it. Another question is, whey buying my bbk catless x-pipe I get the full-lenght header style right? Just want to make sure I dont' order the wrong part. Thanks, Kyle

as far as headers take your time give your self atleast a solid day and thats if you are a good mech.

Yes, you will need a shorty mid-pipe. As far as installing he LT's, here is my advice......FIND JESUS....LOL....Cause they are a bitch, get a set of Percey's header gaskets and some Stage 8 locking header bolts.

If I buy the headers from summit, they say gaskets and 8 bolts are included, are these ones no dice?? Should I get the ones you suggested code? Also, I know i'm going to buy the bbk mil eliminators, I'm not going to need new o2 sensors right? The mil elminators take care of that problem right?? Thanks, Kyle

I have mid length headers and I love em. They are easier to install IMO than longs or shorties, because each primary comes apart and after you have each one bolted to the engine, you just install the collector. Bassani has a great R&D team.

My advice, take your time and have a plan before you start!
