Thats just it, i found a new intake for my car, its cheap, and is there nething i should look for whenever i go to see it. Or is it just a flat out bad idea?
I would say make sure there is no cracks in it. And also make sure all the nuts in the intake arent stipped inside of the plastic. Meaning the nuts didnt spin in the plastic. Otherwise you will go nuts when installing it.
sry about the confusion, but im talking about a plastic NON PI one to replace my cracked one. It has the aluminum crossover, and he claims he got it from Sean hyland Motorsports.
The pi one and the new replacements are both plasctic. Its a plastic intake, but it has to aluminum crossover so it dosent crack on me agian. And the port shapes are the same so i dont have that nasty misalignment of the ports. But u think i should do it?
