Default Wheels and Tires!!

Tire question. Ok i promise this is my last question about wheels and tires. If i get 17x9 rims and get nitto 555r drad radicals on the back (275/40/170) and nitto nt 555 extreme performance on the front (245/45/17). Would that be an ok set up. Thanks again for all your help and replys.

Pretty good set up. Is your car a daily driver?? If not go with some mt radials, or bfg's.

Nice choice of tires, but if your car is a daily driver then I would suggest going 275/40/17's all the way around. That way you can rotate the tires and get a little more life out of them. If it is not a daily driver then go deep dish on the back with 315's and stay 275's on the front. I went with 275's all the way around for the first reason mentioned and I am really glad I did.

not really sure what you mean by torque. I have chrome 17's with 275's all around. Here are a few pics so you can get the idea.

it seems to me that if it's a daily driver it's almost senseless to run drag radials........unless you have a second set of wheels where you can run regular street tires.
