1 is thier anything i need to install the chip as far as accesories like some of the things at the bottom of this link http://www.mustangtuning.com/computerchips.html

2 in the chips description with the first link i have in my thread it says...Easily switch between Power Levels on the fly with the wired remote Dial Selector. what is this and does it come with it?

Alright, you should know what you are ordering before you go spending your money. Not to offend you, but you REALLY need to read up before you buy this.

The chip has four banks, so it can store four different tunes. As the description says, it comes with the **** to switch between the tunes. The "accessories to install" as you say that are on the bottom of the second link you provided are just bezels for the **** that comes with the chip. You can custom install it anywhere you want without any extras, the bezels are just for show, and for a simplified install of the ****.

Second, the thing they are talking about is what I just said, they give you a dial to choose one of the four banks of the new chip. That's all it does. You need to have four separate tunes on there to get any benefit from it. From the sound of it, it looks like it comes with the chip. Ask Mustangtuning about it, they have the part, they can tell you, not us.

With your mods, you will have almost no benefit from this chip. You'll pick up 10-15 HP MAX! You WILL however be able to have an 87 octane tune, and a 93 octane tune on the chip though. The main difference between them will be that one has advanced timing, you'll pick up a few horsepower between them, but the gains are going to be minimal.

I suppose the one true benfit from it (if the model in question does it within its tuning) is the fact his 3.73 gears will no longer offset his MPH, once u install gears doesnt that need to be corrected?

I think you have to actualy have the plastic gears for the speedo to adjust it on the 96 and 97. You might be able to do it with a chip though.
