i am going nuts trying to pick out the right hood for my 97 gt. I have it lowered with an eibach pro kit and am planning on also adding a Mach 1 chin spoiler. My car is rio red. I just want to see which hood people think looks the best on the 97 gt's...because im beginning to go nuts!! I can't find any 97 gt's with aftermarket hoods that i like!!

I was thinking the same thing Code. I've also got a Rio Red 97GT and will more than likely go with the 98 Cobra Hood too.

I personally don't like the idea of making my car look like another stock SN95 car....

98 Cobra hood/bumper is sick....but I would rather get something like a heat extractor hood or a cowl

I'm really starting to dig the Cobra R 3 1/2 inch cowl hood....that bumper looks awsome with it too...any idea where i can pick the bumper up at??

that cobra r hood looks better then the mach 2. also the bumper you can find anywhere. everyone makes cobra r bumpers but its all about quality. the cobra r bumpers are really low and will scrape everywhere if you have a lowered car or even stock hight goin up a driveway. i would get the heat extractor hood that looks like the 03 cobra hood. just my 2cents

i dont want the cobra r front bumper, i agree its wayyy too low, considering my car is lowered. I'm talking about the regular cobra front bumper, look at the cobra r hood at this link, it has the bumper im talking about.
