RE: Just Bought A 04 Cobra. Mods Recommendations Wanted
upper and lower pulleys, quality tune, full exhaust, and all you air intake things is what I would do for the motor, along with maybe a 50-75 shot for the rare occasions you would need it. All of this alone, as long as you can do the install yourself(other then tuning) should be about 2300-2500 with it coming closer to 3000 with nitrous, plus you would have free flowing exhaust and a good start on the air intake side if you ever wanted to jump to a kb. A KB is still going to make rediculous amounts of power without the other bolt ons.
Next I would work on the suspension, add a solid rear axel with some 3.90's or 4.10's, and get ahold of some very sticky tires.

Most of you are crazy if I just bought a Cobra the first thing I would get is LT's, an O/R X pipe and some Flow's so everyone would hear my Cobra coming, those things deserve the attention. If this is your first ridiculously fast car start with the pulley swap, for the money you can't go wrong.

screw the pulleys: Get a Kenne Bell: $3799 includes all you need for a safe 617rwhp (stock is 366 at the wheels) at 21 psi... This kit includes the chip and a boost-a-pump for fuel. It's a solid foundation and you can work your way up past 700 rwhp with this setup if 617 gets old.
After that, work on your suspension: MMRG-21 from Maximum motorsports should make a huge improvement to the rear for $794.48... It'll feel much more solid with this.
Also, don't forget to get a short shifter. MGW or Steeda make a great short shifter for your car.

I would go w/ full exhaust first. Catback, midpipe, and headers.
Then shifter
Then wait for the Kenne Bell. I am not sure but, I dont think you could get a full Kenne Bell kit for 3800 but I could be wrong. I thought they were closer to 5k.

Ive never seen a cobra dyno any less than 390 at the wheels and most were over 400 stock. Where did you get 366 rwhp from?

4.10s with a keene bell? i dont know too much about the cobras but without damn good traction i think 3.90s would be pushing it. id stick with the stock gears maybe go to 3.73s. i also wouldnt bother with the nitrous, and i gurantee that cobra already has an exhaust and intake upgrades. i really want an 04 cobra now.
