RE: help on mods
I guess what some people are saying about the LM1 is that it works best with a catted mid-pipe, supposedly, it makes it a lot deeper, and without cats it can get kinda raspy. However, this is just what I've heard people say, never actually heard it with cats personally. I too ordered the LM1 catback and it should be here sometime next week. I will probably purchase the SLP Catted X pipe to go with it. I personally am looking for loud and throaty.

RE: help on mods
Gears (and a tuner/speedcal to correct the speedo) are the best bang for the buck. HOWEVER watch what gear size you go to,you may be sorry if you go to high numerically. I know I was not happy going from 273 to 373. I was in 3rd and 4th most of time around town and highway demanded 5th gear. But most guys here are very happy with 373's or better yet 355's would, I imagine at least save a little of first gear. Most enthusiast drivers don't mind basically making first gear useless( except for killer acceleration take offs). But at any rate gears will give the biggest bang for the buck and a chance to freshen up the rear with new bearings .
