I knew.35 just didn't sound right to me, .035 is what I meant but oh well I was wrong. Maybe thats part of my problem now, I went with .038 and I should have gapped them more, oh well I'm still just getting new plugs but now I know.

LOL, I honestly don't think I have ever been to a car parts store where they didn't sell those on the counter, do they really need fifty at the checkout counter? I guess it's the cheesy "yeah I work on cars" symbol everyone should have, although I keep mine next to my plug socket.

For an N/A application, I recommend .052. That's what I run on my Stang. NGK TR55's at .052

The round keychain plug gappers will work, but Ideally, you want to use a feeler gauge. The wire types are arguably the best but the flat leaf gauges will work well aslo. This is something many people should have because there are tons of times when you need them.
Also, You never want to use a ratchet to start a plug... You can spin the extension in your hand if you want but if you need any more torque than that something isnt right. If you need to you can use a short piece of rubber fuel line if you need too as well. They just need to be snug NOT 200ft lbs tight

Amen to cleaning out the wells. I used a vacuum and got most of the sheet out before I took the plugs out. Another thing, don't do the plugs till the engine has cooled down all the way. When I started to do mine the engine was still pretty hot and the socket was expanding and would not come out very easily. [&:]
