i got 3.73s cause i didn't know any better at first. i'd get 4.10s in a heartbeat if i didn't have to pay 500 for another swap.

I just got my 4.10's in last night, there kick a$$, no regrets at all. Top-end is alittle lower, but you get there alot quicker..i mean quick..the best thing i've done to my gt so far
Top end is not affected with 4.10's on modular motors. You actually gain more mph up top, because the 3.27 is so tall it does not enable the car to make the most of it's power. The 4.10 will allow the car to make better use of the available power & intern give more top speed.
Top speed in 4th gear is about 113.... 5th gear doesnt count its an overdrive. Theoretically you're correct though.

i hate them for a daily driver......
y?

Everyone here gets a giant hard on, because it feels a little faster. For the cost of gears and install and 200bux you could just buy a NX wet kit, which is going to make MUCH more of a difference than gears.

I hate the gear ratios... shifting out of first at like 9-10mph, being in 4th around 30 for the regular driving RPMS. Feels like im driving a 4cyl honda with the gear ratios.

Also you have to have drag radials to take advantage, i know most cobra guys drive around all year on 555r's... but not that many mustang guys here. I've raced my buddy when i was stock he had 4.10's and a **** load of other stuff... i beat him from a dig twice....

I could go on....

Your buddy obviously needed some new tires.

You don't have to refill your gears ever two weeks, either.

I think you are the first person EVER to argue against steeper gears than stock.

I agree, your friend was not racing, needs tires, or can't drive [&:]

Gears are there all the time, Nitrous is not..
You spend more for Nitrous, then need to fll it all the time
I don't want to have to pay weekly for my upgrades to work.
That's why I went with 4.10's and a Kenne Bell

Nitrous is essentially the steroids of the automotive world.

You might have to take her out for a few drinks first...
She gets a bit wild after a few gallons of 93 octane
