bizzare exhaust leaks
i have two exhaust leaks that are microscopic but annoying. they are at the clamps right before/after my lm2 resonators. i notticed it after installing my h pipe, i tightened and loosend them both a dozen times, i might just seal around them with something. you dont nottice it unless you look under and see the water dripping very slowly from the clamps. anyone else have this kinda leak on their lm exhaust? mines been on since april 2005.

RE: bizzare exhaust leaks
i dont have anything to record it with, but if it helps...its sounds really deep at low rpms, in 4th gear on the highway it doesnt drone and is quiet enough to hear. mine sputter pretty good when decelerating (the typical exhaust rumble/crackle). got lots of compliments when i had the cats on, its much deeper/louder with the o/r h thats for sure.

if i welded it all shut the water would collect and rust, so yeah good call on that red. im not used to the o/h h pipe anymore, i had one when i first got the stang but that was a year ago...its loud and vicious.

RE: bizzare exhaust leaks
it was just the separations from the resonator pipeto the tailpipe, you know how they have 4 cuts so when they are clamped they get a good seal, well each of the welds had come off when i moved the catback all around during the hpipe install, so i put some jb weld to plug em up. no big deal.
