ok i was look through ebay and came upon an engine that is 5 min. away from me. im sure this has been answered before but is the 99-04 4.6 an easy swap into my 96?????(computer...etc..) i happen to know the junk yard it is at and the people who work there. if the price was right you think i should have them swaped out. my non pi 4.6 has 89,XXXX miles.

for the price you can't beat it, it has all the pi stuff to swap. not sure if all the mounts etc are the same for the entire engine swap.

yeh im def think of getting it if not just for the pi stuff. but if the engine could be a complete swap...32k miles would be nice.

im sure this has been done before ...any info would be nice
