I have BF Goodrich g-Force T/A® KDWS and they are awesome. I barely ever loose traction unless i want to. Very good wet and dry traction if you have the cash to dish out for them.

Well thanks for the replies. I want some good tires that look nice and I also want them to be good in the rain. Or can I not get tires like that?
road and track did a comparison in the dec. issue. I think yokohamas and goodyear were in the top two or three.

If you go 275's you want 275/40/R17 not 275/45/R17

275/45/ are to tall 275/40 is very close to OE tire height.

So 275/40/17 would fit my 17" Bullitt rims? I just dont wanna order something if its to tall or to big.
Its either gonna be 275/45/17 or 245/40/17, which would be better? My cars a daily driver and I want something that looks good and are wide like DR's, but I want them to do ok in the rain.

275's on stock rims aren't recommened and look like balloons hanging off the tire to me. stock rim= no more than 255's. I have kumho 712's, they suck. Horrible everything, from traction to tire wear. I'm going to 275 BFG g-force sports when I get my 03 cobra rims.

I had Yokohamas on mine before I obtained the Goodyears.
Don't you feel a little weird having a tire name like Toyo on your muscle car?
(I mean, I realize they are good tires and who should care, but I always felt a little self-conscience about the Yoko's)
Toyo's Main Primary marketing and sponsored car for the past year has been a 2005 Mustang GT with a 03/04 cobra engine and a 2.3L Whipple supercharger upgrade. I think they're moving in the right direction. People used to think the same thing about Nittos until they put together a coupe of tires that they directly marketed to mustang and GTO owners.

It depends on what tire manufacture you go with also. Some companies 275 will be wider than others due to sidewall/shoulder differences.

BFGoodrich always seems to be wider than the others where as Goodyear and Nitto tend to be a bit smaller so they look better.

I find it weird that the guy who had yokohamas on his car doesn't want toyos on his car.
