Default SHOULD I TRASH THE K&N INTAKE?

I started to wonder if im losing horsepower due to the k&n cold air intake sucking in all that hot air so i started to lean towards fender mounted intakes such as UPR and JLT whats everyones opinion and which JLT and UPR intake should i get because they have a few different ones?

I doubt the difference would be noticeable...

I just finished putting in my tunable induction cai on today. It gets it's air from the fender well.

K&N is a pretty good brand (I have one myself) I really doubt a fender cai is that much better. maybe a horse or two. Don't waste the money, buy something else like undrive pulleys, or put it toward an exhaust.

your air temp doesnt make that much of a difference, its more the amount of air flowing in.... You wont notice a difference between a cai and a K&N at all. Mabey 1hp or so.. especally with a blower.. the temp of the compressed air unless you have an intercooler is going to be pretty damn high regardless of what setup you have.
Spend your money on a different mod unless your dead set on the shiny tube.
