i have an 02 mustang GT and im about to decide on a wheel tire combination because the stock tires dont give any traction. I was wondering if anyone has recomendations for which tire is a good traction tire and has good treadware. I will only be using the tires in the summer so i am looking for a summer tire. i have heard good things about the BF g-forces, and the michelin Pilot sports, but i cant decide. Please contribute if you have any information. thanks

When I bought my car it had some goodyear eagle zr45s and they were not worth a crap. I put the g-force kdw and I love'em

are you looking for regular street tires or drag radials? As it is only a summer car d.r.'s might be a good investment for you. If so...BFG's d.r. has some great grab, but not so much of a long life. Nittos for me have proven to the best of both worlds.

yea i want a tire that will last a good amount of time, im prob gonna sway away from the drag radials. i want a max performance street tire. Do your Nitto's lock up good because im looking for traction.

I have the kdws bfg's on my stock 17in 245/45/17 wheels and they have been great as far as tread life and dependability for summer and you can find them pretty cheap and that look nice as far as tread appearance. They're DR's, yea the hook[8D]. they are substantially better than stock tires; especially w/my 4.10

For all around street tires...the BFG KDW's are aweome. They do very well in all weather conditions and have EXCELLENT wear.
