Default How long?

I'm looking at some springs that will drop me about 1.7 in up front how bad would it be if I didn't get CC plates straight away, would I be able to go a couple of months or is destruction imminent?
Cheers

nothing really destructive happens. I have a 97 GT that the guy I bought it from lowered it 2" right before I bought it. I've had it about 4 months, and the insides of my tires are now worn away more than the outsides. I need C&C plates soon, and tires. And I'm getting new wheels. I'm hoping to buy them all one at a time and install all at once. (buy tires, then wheels, then plates, then install all)

You should be fine a while, just keep in mind you are wearing the insides of your tires a lot more than the outside.

If the springs really do drop it down that much, it is still only a little bit lower then 1.5". And the rule is, anything lower than 1.5' needs CC plates. So, you should be fine but you might have some negative camber and wear the inside of your tires a bit.

you might just get them to align them the best they can, till you get your cc plates in. But i would wait on the springs till you get the cc plates, install it and then get it aligned.
