Default lowering the gt

im lowering my car. its on 18x9, rims now with 285x35 rear 255x35 front. theres still 2-3 inch from outside fender to wheel. how low should i go. i want it snug, tight, and to ride smooth.

You should go steeda sports low

I had a similar setup (18x9, 245/275) and had no problems with the steedas and isolators removed...it looked LOW too.

maybe the eibach sportlines.... They look low and mean too. Real snug fit.

That might be too much.

I agree with Acer, get some steeda sports, or a pro-kit.

so many mixed opinions alot of people say the sportlines are too low? what are they meant for then? lol. what do you guys think about the H&Rs?

but yeah along with springs im goin with the x2balljoint, bumpsteerkit, and c/c plates. along with bilstein hds all around. i just didnt want to go with coilovers so im stayin with springs. well tryin to pick a set out..

"too low" is a matter of opinion. "too low" for someone else can be just right for you, depending on your driveway height and whatnot.

rule of thumb is anything below 1.5 -2 inches and you need bumpsteer and c/c plates because the suspension geometry gets too far off and you won't be able to get it aligned correctly because you won't have enough adjustability.
