Default OFF ROAD X-PIPES



If I put off road x-pipes on my 03 GT, what would happen to the o2 sensors and would I get a check engine light all the time?</P>

yes on the 4.6L's the check engine light will come on.</P>


you canbuy what is called "mil eliminators" you plug them in to the o2 sensor.</P>

Who cares. Half the cars on the road aren't street legal. Just keep your original exhaust in your garage to put back on when it's time to smog, then bring it back home and put the off-road mid-pipe back on.</P>

I'm not worried about lagality..in my state we dont have inspections of any kind...any uninsured, hoopty, piece of crap car can drive our roads<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">even if its held together with duct tape and bailing wire<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"></P>


I plan on running the OR X-pipe with the SLP loudmouth resonantors..</P>


But I was just wondering about the check engine light...anyone have any details on the "mil eliminators"?</P>

I just ordered the BBK offroad x pipe, and someone on the forum told me I would needmil elim.for sure.. And they said to get the plug and play kind, not the kind you have to splice..

....you'l plug them on the two 02 sensors after passing the X cross</P>
