I just now thought of this question I wanted to ask some people here. I purchased an 01 GT and noticed that the car had gold emblems, has anybody ever seen this before or know what percentage of these have this? All the eblems are gold, the Pony in the grill, the GT eblems on the side and the back, and around the blue oval on the ford emblem. I personally think it's kinda cool,even tho my friends sometimes make fun of it Mustangs are quite common around here and I really think the gold emblems make me stand out. Anybody know about what percentage of these Mustangs came with this? Or anybody else here have this paticular option?

I see a black one on occasion. Looks pretty good.(IMO) I'm not sure how many were made but it couldn't have been too many. Definitely sets you apart.

If it is an option, it would be done at the dealership. Lexus and toyota do it a lot to their cars.

As far as I know that was never an options.. It had to have been done aftermarket.
As far as the black ford emblems... there was a sponsor of this site a while back that had black ones, red ones, white ones.... I think he may have taken them a part hand painted over the blue.

I saw somebody's signature around here a while ago that said they have the same thing. I just think its cool because it seems like I'm the only one around where I live that has it. Mustangs are quite popular and they usually have close to the same list of mods, so anything that helps me stand out is a plus as far as I'm concerned.

I've seen some with gold badges. It was on a red anniv. edition. Looked ok.
