If they make springs that come that way, I'm sure you can.

Well in a few, I will be buying some 18’’ s and I want to lower my car, but I would like to have the same stance as the saleen. What springs should I get and I would not mind being a bit lower. And what tires are on the stock saleen? And why do people get a lower profile tire in the rear???

well I have a 97 GT, the guy I got it from lowered it pretty much 2" all around. Handles amazing, but I do get a bi*** of bump steer and the camber blows on the front. I need to invest soooon in a C&C kit and one of those tie rod kits to eliminate the bump steer. It looks badazz with 2" though. Can take turns at speed w/o many problems. Just go slow over rail road tracks!!!!!!!

If I were you I would lower 1.5 to 1.8 at the lowest. And also get some new c/c plates along with shocks and struts. With those 18" rims 2" would be too low. But to answer your question, you should get the sportlines with Bilsteins.

It sits like a PreRunner.
DUMP it. 2" w/ C/C plates.
I have a 2" drop, C/C Plattes,
with 275/40/18's rear, and 265/35/18 front on 18x9" rims.
No rubbing at all.
And it still has too much front fender gap for me.

I think I like the Funny car look though.
Maybe I'm just OLD school and remember Cruzin in the '80's

my 97 GT has 2" lowering springs... I just have to complete the suspension components and then get some wheels and tires (winter killed my stock wheels, GRR)

somehow my wallet keeps looking at me with an empty look in it's face... lmao... college is not cheap!!!

I lowered mine 2inches and put on c/c plates as well as fox body shocks/struts (tokico). I also have 18's and dont need a bumpsteer. there is no rubbing on mine whatsoever. My problem is I purchased P255/35R18's Pirelli's and need more damn rubber. I think a taller tire would fill in my front fender gap a little more. I want the look of monkeydude stang and see that his tires have more rubber. Looks pretty sweet. Unfortunately, mine didnt turn out like that and still have a fender gap. I hate that!!!! The springs i bought are supposed to 2inch, but the front doesnt look like it.... didnt measure before, so have no idea....
