Default New Exhaust!!!

I am going to install my new Borla Stingers Cat-back this weekend and I was just looking over the directions and it ses that I need to cut my old pipes off. I have a 2002 GT, so I want 2 know if this is correct? I thought u just unbolted the old one and bolted the new one on. Also I plan on getting an H-pipe and headers later on down the road are they going 2 be easy to put on with my new Borla system already installed?

you'll still have to cut the old exhaust off

and it shouldnt be a problem to put on the mid pipe once the stingers are already on
just unbolt all the bora equip and then reattach it after youre done

good luck,
let us know what you think tommorrow when you start it

Your stock catback should unbolt and the Stinger cb will bolt back in place but you may have to do some cutting. Are u gettin shorties or LTs.If you get the longtubes you need the short H pipe.Hope your going Offroad H!

Thanks guys. Yeah imp going with the off road H-pipe but I don’t know if I should go with long tubes or short it all depends on the money. Also one more question what is better about ceramic header than say metal headers.

They hold the heat better from the exhaust and blows it out the rear of the car. With the metal, the heat from the exhaust will heat up the engine bay alot more before it goes out the rear. The metal headers attract alot more heat.

It can be done. You have to drop the axle out and do it. [:@] I dont think anyone would want to go that route.
