The BEST fitting Tires & Wheels?
ok, It's an 03 White GT, White Top, White Seats. The car is dropped 2"
I have Y2K Cobra's, 275/40/18 rear. 265/35/18 front. I hate em. Cant stand to look at 'em. Fronts are wide, but short (25.3") and the backs are tall (26.7") but not wide enough.
I went to AFS wheels in Canoga park last Saturday, they were closed. I'm trying to get there tomorrow.
The other option is to order Chrome FR500's
It's down to this: 275/40/17 on 17x8 (or 17/9) Front
and 315/35/17 on 17x10 (or 17x10.5) Rear
or do I get 255/45/18 on 18x9 Front
or 265/40/18 on 18x9 Front
with 295/35/18 on 18x10 Rear
I'm looking for a tire & wheel that will fill the fender well (about 26.5")
and come out flush to the body without rubbing.
It's time to change the wheels.
My F250 Diesel CrewCab 4x4 is done.
My F150 CrewCab 4x2 is done.
Help me out. I keep seeing wheel sizes that arent wide enough, or have too much fender gap.

My buddies '98 Cobra was ont the tires. AFS Cobra wheels, 17/8 w/ 275/40/17 & 17/10.5 w/ 315/35/17

Can you post a pic? I'm interested in getting 2000 cobra r rims on my car eventually and like to see how it looks.
