are wheelie bars illegal on the street?

I may be wrong but I think their illegal on the street, because some old woman would run up all over the wheelie bar without seeing it

well... ive seen em on cars on the street. the thing is.. tires that can make the car wheelie enough to need the bar arent legal on the street..... hahaha.
