Default Internals

I keep hearing that If I want to put some major horsepower into the mustang that I need forged internals. What specific parts does "forged internals" mean? How much will it cost? Any other info would be appreciated as I have no idea what I'm talking about here! Thanks in advance!

Rods, Pistons, Beams, Crank, the stock 2v 4.6 can safley take up to 450hp i beleive. You can either do the parts sepratley and get your motor rebuilt or buy a engine with forged internals already in it.

So I'm basically looking at Rods, Crank, and Pistons? How much do you think this will cost? Can just about any competent shop do it? How long will it take? Thanks again for the help!

well, it depends on how much hp you plan on making, youll need more than just forged internals.
