Oh, I thought the 05 GTs were faster than that. Hopefully once I get a few mods I'll be able to beat his rich ***.

What do stock 03/04 cobras run? Low-Mid 13s? I heard the 05 GTs run mid 13's, is that true?
03/04 Cobras run very low 13's (13.1 13.2), usually lower, but theres been many instances of an 03/04 Cobra running in the 12's. The 05 GT on average runs 13.6-13.8. Your friend would get his *** whooped, unless he was supercharged.
think it had a pully or tune on it, as the cover was still on the blower pully and the eaton wasn't all that loud

Pssh, 05's dont run 13.6-13.8 on average. Not atleast at my track. Hell a guy with a shaker system, pullies, and o/r exhaust.. ran a 14.2. I raced him we were about even through the 1/8th mile. (this was when i was stock...) I've seen a ton of them run... and none have been better than 14.2 stock.

I'd assuming that they could run mid-high 13's. They do have 40 more hp than the PI 2V's dont they. Course they also weigh a little more....

Well you gotta think, the et's that the manufacturers give are on a closed course with professional drivers. So you should rarely see those numbers consistently.

Somewhat off-topic, but an 03/04 cobra can beat an 05 GT right? I would assume so since it has way more hp and torque and it weighs less. But my friend keeps insisting that his 05 GT could beat a supercharged cobra.... Is he right?
Hahahahaha ahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Your friend is a winnnnnnnner. An 03/04 with a spark plug missing and 4 flat tires could still kill an 05 GT.

Anyways, back on topic.

I doubt their value will drop any when the 07 comes out, for a couple reasons. Everyone will be in the market to pick the 03/04's up since the 07 is out.

Since it's a documented and numbered car by SVT, it's going to hold it's value better and the build quality & market demand is still huge. I looked at some 03/04 Cobra's at some HUGE dealerships before I found mine, and they all wanted $2,000 over book value because of market demand.

2000GT4.6, the 26,000 is not bad at all. Private seller, chances are you could get it for about a grand less, but then you have nobody to bitch to when or if something breaks right away

I got my 04 Cobra with 16,500 miles for under $28k when they were asking $33,000. I showed up, already with financing, couple bucks to hold it and my own pen to sign the paper work and said I had one day to make the deal because it was all the time I could get off from work. They wouldn't make the deal I wanted, I left and got about 10 miles down the road and the salesman called me up and asked if I could come back and sign the paper work because he made a deal better than what I was asking. I got out of my GT, which had been wrecked before I bought it, made $1,000 on the trade and obviously got them to come down huge on the Cobra.
