You guys think $15,900 is a good price for a Loaded Black 2003 GT with 11k miles?

I paid 15.5 (or was it 16?) for an '02 with probably 11 or 12k miles; the odometer said 13.3 but the car had been run for several thousand miles with 373's and no fix (something like 30% more miles were added than should have been), in perfect condition. That was a year ago, too, though.
However, as others have said, for 2-3 grand more you can get a Mach1 with around 20-25,000 miles.. or an 01 Cobra.. but if insurance is an issue stick with the GT I suppose.

(on a side note, if I could go back in time one year, I would not have got my 02 GT; I would have either got an LS1 Camaro/Firebird or a 5.0 with less than 50,000 miles. the 02 is just too slow, and costs way too much to make it fast [:@])

Spend 3-4k more and you'll have a low mile Mach 1.
thats what i was gonna say, i see machs for sale by private owners for under 19k on the mach1 forums and most machs have low miles on them. I have also seen a few bulitts for about 16k with less then 20k miles, if your gona pay 16k you should look for something a little different.
whats your zip code i can look around car site forsome cars if you want, i dont really have much to do today

I have owend lots of Muscle cars in my day, and i will never buy another Camaro/Trans-Am again. Yes they have more power, but thats ALL they have on the Mustang. I hated the way they drove, they way you sit in it, i personally dont even think they look good either. The Mustang sounds better, is by far the best looking car on the road for its price ( i mean who wants to drive around in a f-ing Neon srt-4?), Sits and feels Great and is FUN to drive unlike the damn F-Body's, you get looks everywhere in a nice clean mustang...The Mustang Just feels right to me. I love everything about the Mustang, and I hate everything about the Camaro/Trans am's... i mean if .5 seconds is really that important to some people then maybe they should buy the GM cars, but i've learned my lesson having owned both Camaros and Trans am's... Not for me... This will be my 4th Mustang and i cant wait.... Would love to get the 03 Cobra but its not in the cards right now...

To each his own. I love my Stang, don't get me wrong, I just feel that it is severely lacking in the power department. I think F-bodies are hideously ugly, too, except first generation (and the 80s ones.. they kind of grow on me the more I see them..) I also like the idea of having a powerful N/A car, and it doesn't really seem like much can be done by way of cams, heads, intake for the mod motor (Code3GT has a beautiful stang.. and he's invested a ton into it..it's what I would love my car to be.. but I believe his sig states 370HP or so to the wheels, which seems like a ton of money, effort, and time invested for minimal gains, whereas JD1969 threw some cams into his LS1 and it pumped out low 12s in the 1/4 mile)

But , I do LOVE the look of 99-04 stangs, I love how my car sounds now with the full exhaust, and I love to drive the vehicle.. just wish there were some better (cheaper) mods out there. And while I will likely end up getting a S/C, that's still some ways away.. and seems like a cop-out, in that I won't really be doing cams, heads, intake, etc.. to actually make the engine better, I'll just be doing FI. I dunno why, that just always seemed like "cheating" to me; like taking steroids to get huge rather than working out and eating healthy.
