Default LT Headers for Vert

Guys,

I am going to be getting coated LT Headers for my 2000 GT Convertible. I need to know the best brands that are COMPATIBLE with CONVERTIBLES!

I know that someone told me SLP is NOT compatible with convertibles? Correct?

And I know that BBK is compatible with convertibles... Are there any of brands that are GOOD that you know for a FACT are compatible with convertibles?

Thanks again,
Mike

I have BBK LTs in my 00 vert, They work out really good, but make sure you get a good gasket, cuz if those suckers leak it will be a major pain in the a$$ but that is true for headers on any 99+ mustang

Aight cool, you like that way they sound, because I am all about the sound baby.. lol.

I am putting the whole exhaust on headers, x-pipe, and LM1's. But I need to make sure that the BBK LT's are the best ones I can get for my convertible with the best sound because I don't want to spend tooo much, but I need something that is good and SOUNDS good!

And I don't want it to sound like crap once I put it one because I will die...

Anyone else have any input on LT Header brands for my vert? Or is BBK the way to go?

Thanks.

Yea racer thats what I thought. I would go with the SLP headers, but I really don't want to spend that much, and I know they won't fit my vert anyway, so BBK LT's is what I will do then. And same as you, everyone that has them loves them and has had no troubles so thats what Ill go with.

The K-Member... and all that other **** under there for the hood. BBK Headers are specifically bent.

I've got a vert, but its auto. I don't think vert or coupe makes a difference with headers, only the cat-back. Auto or Manual makes the difference. I have to try to find headers that fit around the bigger bell housing of my auto.
