Default so...about a new hood

My P-51 intake is too big for my hood to close on my '02 GT, so I am going to look at aftermarket hoods. Actually it's not the intake, but rather my C&L true flow pipe that is touching the hood. I removed the padding, so the hood will latch now, but still won't close all the way. How are the Cervini's hoods? I have had my eye on the Cobra R Hood. Do they come painted? Probably not.

Also, does anybody know anything about there being different size motormounts in 99-04 Mustangs? My friend has an 01 & his P-51 fits. Thanks in advance

~Gixxer

BTW...I know some of you have been asking about my car & when it's going to be done. I have an appointment on Wed 7pm for my tune! I will post pics/vids as soon as I can. The car sound MEAN even w/out a tune lol!

Nice new sig code.

On topic. I like cervini's 2.5 inch cowl.

How much could I sell my stock hood for if I chose to sell it? It's off an '02 GT in perfect condition.

I guess I would just go with a cowl hood. 2 and a half inch, nothing redic. But in my opinion, I would try and make the stock hood work, like code did.
