gains are unnoticable between manufacturers. Just go with what fits your budget and catches your eye. I've got a c&l plenum and a bbk 75mm on its way. I'll be bolting it on this weekend.
Ya thats why they did a dyno test on C&L, BBK, Accufab and Accufab produced 2 extra hp then the other 2...[:-]
Should have been more explicit, you won't feel -sotp- difference. As mentioned before, Accufab is $$$ mainly just for shine.

Whatever you buy, another neat trick. These intakes are castings and within them casting bumps, goobers, etc. I took a die grinder flattened the bumps and polished the inside with a flap wheel made of scotch brite and emory paper. Came out awesome. Don't forget to dunp it in the sink with suds before you re-install.

Got some interesting posts on this thread... But I'm going to have to agree w/ the guys that say get whatever fits your budget. I'm running both MAC 75mm TB & Plenum and the combo was one of the best bolt on mods I've done. Your not going to notice 2hp, so go with your checkbook on this one...

so is there really any difference in throttle bodies between brands? I would think not but am i correct? Is that why it looks like a lot of people go with Accufab Plenum(for the air flow) and BBK throttle body(for price)?
