Well I don't post on here a whole lot since I joined. So I don't know if any of you remember me posting questions about what Mustang to get but...I'm closer to making up my mind now. Proud of me? Haha...JK.

Anyway. I"m going to get a 2004 GT Mustang Coupein Sonic Blue Metallic with the 40th anniversery interior upgrade package. Dark Charcoal Leather interior. Adding on the options of the Mach 1000 Audio System, 17" Bright Aluminum Wheels...etc. I decided not to get a convertible because it just isn't practical since I live in Ohio. Hell yeah it would be nice in the summer. But with all the salt on the roadsin the winter, the black will fade. Plus, I don't want to deal with the motor breaking...etc. Too bad stangs don't come with sun/moonroofs. And I'm (pretty sure) I decided definately on the Sonic Blue because as much as I love the Redfire (they look beautiful in almost anything)...Everyone has it and I don't want to be like everyone else. I want mine to look and be unique with a few mods.

So here's the question and sticking to the subject line...

What kind of superchargers would you guys reccommend for my GT? Is Paxton a good brand? And which one would you reccomend...NOVI 1000...NOVI 2000...? How much $$ do they run for?

What other small performance mods would you reccomend?

I almost forgot to ask your opinion on the clear tail lights. Would those look bad with the Sonic Blue? Are they too rice-like? Haha. I hate to say it but I like them.

Because of a few small reasons.

1) I know how to drive stick nowbut I want to get an automatic. I know, I know...Get a manual...

2) You can't get the 40th interior upgrade package or the Mach 1000 Audio Optionwith the Cobra's. Same reason why I wouldn't get a Mach 1.

But wouldn't the supercharger pretty muchbring it up to the same 'level' as a Cobra?

Get an Automatic Mach 1, you'll still see Mid 13's...minor mods and that 4v will be kissing 12's.

Please stay away from the clear tail lights as well. IMHO I don't think they look right on any stang.

I think some aftermarket taillights look good. If you like em, get them.

I would only get stick

I know you can get the Mach 1000 audip in the Cobra and I bet you can get the 40th IOP.

The supercharger would be nice, but why viod the warranty on a new car and with the $$$ spent on the SC and installation, you'd be at the price of a Cobra anyway.

Why not wait for the Shelby Cobra...V-10 and 600hp!
