Default Complete Noob question... Im so ashamed

Alright guys, here it goes (be gentle). I keep hearing about PI heads.... Those are just the heads that they started putting on the 99-04 GTs right? Otherwise, nothin special? I was going to buy a new lower intake, but it said for PI heads, and Im not sure if it will work....

next question: I keep seeing 2800 stalls in peoples mod lists (and other numbers) Im not sure I know what that is (and by that, I mean I have no idea). What is it, what does it do, and where can I get it (if im interested after hearing the answers to 1 and 2)

Yes, the heads the are off the 99-04 gt's. People like to switch them onto their 96-98 gt's for an increase in horsepower.

The stall is for auto's, so if your car is a manual, it doesn't apply to you.

Well THATS a load off

I have another question. I heard the PI lower intake was supposed to have a metal brace to keep it from cracking with boost/juice, but I dont see it, i looked around some. Is is the "crack proof" intake supposed to be there, or is it a mod, and if so, where can I get one. Im getting a zex kit this summer and the last thing i need is a cracked intake

Are you talking about the aluminum crossover that is offered by the newer version of the intake manifold?

I think so, the pic i saw just had a peice of metal along the weak side of the intake, to keep it from busting. Aparently thats all you need to run whatever boost u want (i dont know if i believe that though
