hmm, thats odd. for xmas i got my girl a set of ebay springs for cheap (01 gt, figured their cheap what the hell, shes not a fast driver). they were maxxauto works or something like that, anyways, its dropped it a clean 2 inches, and it aligned perfect, i watched them align it, and they printed out the paper in the end with the specs (i only say i watched them bc it would be hard for them to foster the results with me looking there and one operator). anyways it was the right choice, the ride difference is hard to tell from stock, no bottoming or harshness.

i have mine at 1 inch in front and 1.5 in rear and still sit pretty but I want some Caster and Chamber plates and New Shocks and Struts Because i want mine to ride smooth again I have Steeda Sport Lowering Springs love em with

1.5" is the maximum that you can drop your Mustang in the front without plates. Also, anything over 1.5" andyou will drastically deteriorate the life of your struts. There is an acception however. You can get away with up to 2" without CC pates as long as you change out the front control arms to Cobra units, but who would rather do arms for $179 instead of plates for about the same price?
