Door Locks plus more

Door Locks plus more
Okay guys this is concerning a 98 Cobra.. I recently purchased it at an auction and I'm trying to fix a few minor problems.. The cruise control, door locks and rear trunk release don't work.. It may all be related to the same problem or not.. I have pulled the actuators and they work when 12 volts is applied to them.. There is 12 volts at the door lock control switch on the door. When checking voltage at the actuator, there's only 2.3 volts..
Any ideas of what to check next? Looking at the wiring diagram in Chiltons, I don't see any relays.. It looks like the actuators get power straight from the Keyless Module...?? I'd like to check the ground connection, but can't seem to find where it's located in the car. I would like to check the OUT voltage of the keyless entry module, but can't seem to figure out how to unmount it.. Once I figure out how to get it loose I figure I'll check the voltage coming out of the module... I've looked and looked under the dash and don't see any indication that an alarm system was previously installed, thus causing my door lock problem.
Any other ideas?? Any ideas why the Cruise Control isn't working? All fuses appear to be good.
Thanks!

RE: Door Locks plus more
Unfortunately and fortunately I've yet to do any work on my door locks. I did a quick search on google and was unable to turn up anything.
Do you have a scanner? I could help with a picture of the wiring diagram.
If I read your post correctly, you pulled the actuators and applied 12v and they worked? Also, you have 12v at the switch?

RE: Door Locks plus more
If you have a wiring diagram that is better than Chiltons/Haynes, then it might be of help!
Yes, I tested the actuators by applying 12 volts directly to the actuator terminal and they work. I also have 12 volts at the switch.. I don't have 12 volts (only 2 volts) at the connector that plugs into the actuator..
Thanks! Joe - -
