lol im 16 but if i save my every penny over the next 4 years by the time im 20 i would have spent 15k on my car its an 02 gt and probobly 4 of those 15k go to cobra front and paint so what do i do to get to like 500rwhp and still be a good daily driver so 11k to be a daily driver and still reliable what do i get ?
i have intake gear kit no idea what kind lol i hope its 4.10's and xpipe lowered bbk shorties and flowmaster 40's tho its auto btw i also plan on a new trannie as soon as the major power adder goes on last
so once again 11k 500 rwhp safe daily drive
which parts do i need please help me im tired of wondering

Ah, the young and hopeful.

If you want 500 rwhp, then a forged bottom end with a supercharger, plus all the supporting mods, will get you there.

buy a forged shortblock, port and polish your heads, stage 2 cams and a supercharger of your choise
twin screw: KB
centrifugal: procharger or vortech

that will be 11K if you play your cards right and you will have 500 to the wheels based on how much boost you run.

however, if you want to safely run over 400 rwhp, you NEED a forged shortblock because the ford factory internals are sh$ty cast and they will break.

ah i c can i just forge this engine? or wil it be cheaper to get a already forged one?
and what do you mean forge bottom end and internals ive read a little on forge internals but not sure what you mean by bottom end i want all this to be done safely on the motor im making payments no money for a new car lol

A turbo wont make your stang rice, some of the baddest street stangs out there are running a turbo or turbo's.

Forged shortblock, ported heads, full exhaust, cams, and a blower at a good 12-15 will probably net around 500 rwhp. Make sure and get a reputable tuner to tune your ecu when the time comes.

There are many ways you can do it, you can either buy a forged short block like stated above, rebuild your own with forged internals, or buy a crate engine like it did. Some blower cams and a supercharger with a fuel system to support it, a strong clutch, a good rear end and it will run you between 10-15k on how you do it. My setup cost around 14k

yea i was thinking of TT but im not sure if thats as relieable as a whipple 2.3 at like 8 pounds of boost and i guess i can settle for the high 400's i mean thats close to vipers lol plus less weight = lets race lol

Hmmm... you really should do a bit more bolt-ons before moving to a big power adder. Oh well, its your car.


Think about nitrous? Pretty big gain and cost efficent, make sure if you run a high shot, to get the mods to support it.
