Default Shaker system from Kar Kraft Engineering

Has anyone purchased the shaker hood scoop system from Kar Kraft Engineering for the 99-04 Mustang GT's?

How is the company to deal with? Did it fit well?

I have a 2002 GT Vert. and want the look of the shaker system off the Mach 1.

It's either go with KarKraft's system and buy a Mach 1 hood or the Classic Design Concepts system and use my GT hood.

I'd rather go with the Mach 1 hood since, I like the look much better than the CDC system with the Hood Appliqué, as they call it.

What about the CDC system? Has anyone used that one?

Thanks for any info.

Find a wrecked mach1 and get the motor and hood :-p

IMHO I HATE posers (CDC/Kar Kraft) Shaker kits, but thats cause I like being different :-p. Regardeless, Theres a v6 down here that has the CDC and he said it bolted right in, took him like 40 mins to install.. (He used a mach1 hood)

I'm not interested in posing as a Mach1. If Ford would have made a stinking Mach1 as a vert, I wouldn't even be asking this question! I think the Mach1 is way better than the GT and that's what I would have gotten, had Ford made it possible for me to put the top down in a Mach1.

I also love the shaker scoop and since, I cannot get a Mach1 with a top that goes down, the next best thing is this GT that I have with a shaker hood scoop.

I don't like the Mach1 rims either and prefer my stock rims with spinners from www.brsparts.com.

The honeycomb panels on the rear look pretty good too but, if I get a set, they cannot say Mach1 on them, because the car is not a Mach1.

I wonder if there is anyone out there who has converted their Mach1 to a vert? Now that would be the best!

Thanks for the replies.

I did install the CDC shaker system with the stock GT hood. It was actually pretty easy to do. Just make sure you follow the instructions which are by the way very good. It does not look as perfect as the Mach1 hood but I think it looks good the way it is. I ordered it directly from CDC and they delivered on time and it was packed well. With other words all around a good experience.

the easiest way to do that would be buy a mach 1 then buy like a 99 sixer strip the sixer down to a shell and transfer all the mach stuff over.

Actually, KarKraft was the company that was contracted to build the 1969 and 1970 Boss Mustangs, so yeah, they have been around. Very good people to work with.

I ordered my 35th Anniversary Honeycomb trunk panel from them.

They were great to deal with.
