yea forget that steen racing ones all the way. The steen racing stage 2's were recommended to me by someone who has them. Its a complete stage2 kit for 1600. It has everything you need for the headswap.

That of course would be better than just a generic cam. Just make sure you tell him you want a streetable combo.

You should be able to expect somewhere around 300 RWHP with worked heads and cams, a stock PI intake, and a stock bottom end.

So you think I'd still need even a stock PI intake for my heads/cam swap?? And not just keep my stock intake??

The stock nonpi intake is much more restrictive than the PI one. A PI intake will improve the powerband all the way thru compared to a npi.

I don't think a aftermarket intake will improve the entire powerband over a pi unit, instead it should improve power up top in the RPM band only.

The PI intake is pretty cheap in any case, and would definatly improve the power quite a bit on a setup like that. Hell, some people acutally use a PI intake on NPI heads just to pick up 10 or so RWHP (with adapter plates).

In any case, if you get a set of 2 1/2 heads, they will be PI units, so you might as well get a PI intake to match up the ports, instead of having to use some sort of adapter.
