Default new clutch opinion

its time for a new clutch for my 00 GT. i was thinking of just going with the ford racing king cobra. the only problem is although itsa cheap it does not come with the aligning tool or a pilot bearing. i cant find these parts individually, and some of the other options are around 300 bucks compared to the 164. if anyone knows more abnout this or has shopped around let me kow your opinions. im not looking for a huge upgrade, but im not opposed to a beefier clutch

I have the king cobra... it grabs hard and very satisfied with it so far. I also suggest getting a firewall adjust and quadrant if you're going to be swapping out the clutch.

code, i saw the spec stage 1 it looked very cheap to me. [&:] My friend burnt his out after 6 months and just seemed very cheaply made? We put king cobras in our cars at the same time... we swapped his spec stage 1 and my stock clutch.

Me too!! Wow..we are too much alike[]. I mean even our car colors are the same lol! I've not installed mine yet though, but it's in the garage. I am curious as to how much abuse my stock one can take. I have a tad over 11,000 on the clock now, & 1,000 or so of that is w/the 4.10 before the calibration.

Man, I sprayed (nitrous) the crap out of my stock clutch with ALOT of track use and even when I switched it out, it still was in pretty good condition.
