Diablosport Predator, quick question pls.
Hey I am just curious if it would be a waste for me to get a DiabloSport Predator as part of the package when I get my 4.10 gears since I plan on going with a Procharger S/C kit later and I will have to get a dyno-tune. Would my DiabloSport Predator end up being nothing but a waste of money when I end up getting a dyno-tune for my supercharger that I have planned for hopefully by the end of the year? Thanks in advance for any input/advice.

i bought the tuner and i love it, i love all the tuning options and it added a good amount of power to my car, i noticed a lot more pull at high rpm's, and if you get any kind of power adder, you notice even more of a jump in hp!

you will need to recalibrate your speedo after the gear swap, but besides that
the tuner would be mostly a waste if your gettin the s/c
it can still do a lot of cool stuff tho if the money isnt that tight

if you're gettiing a super later, i'd keep the 4.10s (trust me) and i wouldn't bother with the diablo. it'll be worthless once you go blown. get an SCT chip and just get a mail order tune with it to calibrate your car for 4.10s. this way, when you finally get the super on, the shop can just tune your chip and you won't have to shell out a couple hundred extra bucks.

maybe if he was running like 500RWHP and could top out 4th in the quarter. i have 3.73s with a vortech and i'd get me some 4.10s if i didn't have to shell out $500 for a gear swap again.

Since I have an auto, would you recommend 3.73's with a S/C or 4.10's? I'm thinking 4.10's because I plan on doing all the bolt ons and then some cams and maybe head work, it might end up being a N/A project.

Hey 01SilverGt I would get the 4.10's for your auto. I have them in mine and love them. The autos shoud come with 4.10's from the factory. Plus the difference between 3.73's and 4.10's is only about 150-200 RPM's. Get the 4.10's if you are thinking about it, you will love them, espically if you end up keeping the car N/A.
