NON PI already going 12's! N/A
Ok I am in the process of trying to get my mustang in the twelves. So Ive been reaserching. I ran across a forum in wwwstangnet.com were a man named Jonny Langton has a NON PI naturaly asperated T-bird with........get this..........with an auto tranny that runs 12's. No power adders no NOS no funny biz. The guy is for real and this proves that the non pi cars are capable without all this pi bull. My car will get to this point one day I hope. At least I know when I said it could be done I know now that I wasnt full of **** like alot of folks said.

It's prolly bored over with some radical cams, 4.56 gears, and a full drag suspension and is completely gutted and not streetable. the 2v 4.6's take a lot fo work, not to mention thousands to get 12's N/A, and for a non PI to get there..... That guy is stupid. I'll be hitting 12's too, but still have a DD that gets 17 mpg w/no weight reduction.

The car is not gutted it has 4.10gears NoN pi performance cams also it is streetable. The motor has been built up Im sure it was bored over. Also my point.................That a non PI car can run 12's N/A form..................................Now many people told me and downed me for some reason when I said it could be done. And to cut the **** my pops could pull a civic behind his car and probly still run 12's LOL

so basically you wanted to see how much money you could throw into your nonpi and still not break into 11's.
and if that has been bored over, it's not exactly a non pi 4.6 motor anymore.

The guy ran a 12.57.....cmon even if you had a factory shortblock that you had balanced you would still be in the 12's. an not even taking into acount this guys auto tranny. Imagine what it would do with a 5 speed manuel. Hell if that guy used a Lenco tranny and gutted that car he would be pretty dang close to 11's and by the way an 11' second N/A car weather pi or non wont have a factory short block so that should not even be part of the post. Who in the hell said anything about 11's anyway!
