Setting up a Ram Air on 0
 

I have an 02 GT 4.6 2V with a Mac Cold Air Pipe and numerous other bolt ons. I am running 267 rwhp on the dyno. I am trying toobtain another 5rwhpor so by installing a Ram Air System. The type I am thinking about uses an air scoop under the front bumper and has 5" air duct leading into a filter box. What I would like to do is stick the duct over the K&amp;N filter under the fender well. This will force air into the filter and through the mass air meter and into cold air pipe. MY QUESTION IS: Will the rush of air mess with my stock mass air sensor? I never upgraded to a bigger sensor because they tend to run lean on 02's. Does any one have any advise on ram airs?Is what I am looking to do worth the trouble? Will it be an upgrade to my Mac Cold Air Pipe?</P>

You're not gonna get another 5 horsepower to the rear wheels with what you already have done as far as induction. Ram air systems are a joke.

I'm running around in a mustangwith Ram Air. And the Chief Engineer of the Mach One said that he ran tests on a quarter mile track with and without the Ram Air functioning, and the difference was a few tenths and about 3 mph faster in the trap speed. Now, do you feel dumb yet??<IMG src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0"></P>

I would think that that would throw off the Mass Air sensor, no???</P>
