Default Best midpipe for Bassani catback?

What sounds better with Bassani? Im thinking either the SLP X-Pipe (with the kick *** interchangable cats) or the MRT Cat H-Pipe ( I live in Cali so I gotta bow down to the smog gods). Also- Would JBA shorty headers make any difference in power and sound, and are they worth the money?

I heard the welds on BBK parts leave much to be desired. I've never heard anything bad about JBA tho, so I'd def go with them, but only if shortie headers are worth it to begin with. Also for my question, im bascally just wondering if an X-pipe or H-pipe is the way to go with the Bassanis- Im not really interested in particular brands cuz I've done enough research on that to know its between SLP and MRT. Thanks again for any help fellas.

I think Bassani sounds best with a catted X-pipe. Go on mustangexhaust.com and listen to clips, very helpful website.
