Dude short throw all the way. I've got the B&M Ripper in mine and after learning on it and driving it for almost 2 years there's no way a stock shifter will be seen in my current car or any of my future stangs...

Eh, I've got an MGW short throw shifter.. The handle can be mounted anyway you wish.. I have mine tilted more torwards me and like it better then it being straight.

I also had a similar question. Does the stock boot and shift *** fit on the new shifter. Also if anyone has pictures of a short throw shift kit in a car all set up. Im just curious as to if its going to look alot different. Thanks and i didn't mean to steal your thred!

Thanks guys for the replys, I am definately going to get one now. I noticed alot of you guys mentioned you had an MGW shifter. Is that a better shifter than the Tri-ax. Should I go with the MGW instead? Where is the best place to get an MGW shifter for the best price? I would like to get shifter gaskets also.
Dont know if its better than the tri-ax or not. I think they are about equal. I love my MGW. You can get it at www.mgwltd.com. Shipped for $187.00. You dont need to buy any gasket. Everything you need for the install comes with it. It is very easy to install with the help from the instructions it comes with. Get it, youll love it.

Yup, the stock boot will fit over an MGW short throw shifter.. Some other ones require you to cut the boot.
Everything fits back like it would be stock.
That's mine with stock shift **** all put back together.
