I finally talked my parets into allowing me to get an O/R H so i called up the previous owner and he said i could have the one he had on it before for 75bucks! Im picking it up tomorrow. How much power you thinnk i might get from it? And its a pretty easy install right?

You will probably gain 3-5 with the stock catback. What kind of O/R H is it. And unles you have a tuner, you need MILs to turn off your check engine light.

Eh, MM&FF put a catted x on a 96 and picked up 11 hp. So I'm going to say 9, just because it's an h.

Yes but 96s have 6 cats if I remember correctly. Was it a GT?

98's have 6 cats as well because i have one

Im not sure if he has the MILs, im hoping he does but if he doesnt then would it be ok to drive without the mils for awhile or should i just wait to put it on until i get the MILs?

I hate cats, and you'll probably get around 10-12 horses... but if you get a hand held tuner you can turn off the check engine light that it'll throw and also use it to get another 8-12horses..you'll feel a nice gain with both.
